Client: Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, Lancashire.

Business: Large public sector educational establishment.

The Brief: To design and build the electrical, data and security systems for a new-build project housing a lecture theatre, classrooms and catering facilities for the Faculty of Education in line with the consultant’s design brief. The project also included the design and build of external lighting in the landscaping of drives and pathways. Where possible, energy saving products were to be used, and it was necessary to comply with Part L of Building Regulations.

Value: £550,000.00

The Process: Due to the tight schedule to ensure the building was completed before the start of the new semester, we utilised our own skilled and reliable labour.

Result: McGoff & Vickers’ in-house supply of labour and excellent product selection delivered a value for money project on time to
the client.
